I am getting – Global Feed Issues – “Connection Failed” in the Merchant Center when I try and fetch my xml file.
Facebook can fetch the feed that I made in the directory. I have used the Google Search Console to make sure Google can see it. And it can…
I have tried all the different file formats and no luck.
I have also checked the Robots.txt file. I have also checked the Wordfence configuration…

I have tried setting a page level rule on CloudFlare… Nothing I do seems to work.

    Any ideas?

Are you using a CDN firewall? If so, you need to add a rule to allow Google request the feed.

    Yes and Per Cloudflare.

This IP has no valid PTR. According to Googlebot Verification | Google Search Central | Google Developers 1 is is not Goooglebot, you may want to contact the vendor to have them update their expected PTR values if this is a valid address.

I don’t even think a rule will allow it. I already tried it.

by coincidence one of our other users experienced exactly the same yesterday and they were able to solve it. It was there CDN/Firewall causing the issue at hand.

What did they do to fix it? I have tried a rule at cloudflare and that doesn’t work. Maybe I didn’t apply the rule correctly but it seemed pretty straightforward.

    Hi,

I am not entirely sure how they did it as we are no CDN firewall expert but this is what they typed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d1zw1t2tvvlfswe/CDN-firewall.png?dl=0
