    Hello
    I am in desperate need of help. I have the Product Feed Pro version plugin installed on my site.

    Overnight, I received the email from Google stating that my merchant center account is being shut down. here is the reason:
    Account suspended due to violation of feed specification: inaccurate shipping costs (due to inconsistent shipping costs between the feed and the landing page)

    Since then, I have create an account level shipping setup. However, I do not use the “shipping” attribute in my feed.

    Can you please suggest how to address this ASAP?

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear Google suspended your merchant center.

    I checked your feed and it indeed doesn’t contain shipping costs which is fine, you can also configure shipping costs directly in your merchant center. You do have to make sure though that the shipping costs you configure in your merchant center are identical to the shipping costs you charge your customers during checkout. Are those the same?

    I have setup account level shipping settings in the Merchant Center. We offer Free Shipping on most orders over $99 (with some exclusions).

    Google is flagging that there is a shipping mismatch between the feed and the actual shipping amount.

    I am asking your help on how to fix that discrepancy. Do I have to upgrade to the pro version in order to add the “shipping” attribute to the feed?

    When you have set your shipping costs in your merchant center directly (on USD 99) and thats also what customers pay on your website then you should be fine. Then there is no reason to add any shipping costs to your product feed.

    You mention ‘with some exclusions’, aren’t those exclusions the reason your account got suspended.

    I heard back from Google Shopping Support team. Here is their response:

    I have consulted this to our team of specialists and they have advised that you will need to provide shipping weight in the feed so that the system can pull up the shipping values accordingly.

    Thus eliminating the error flag on your shipping cost.

    Learn more about the shipping weight attribute:

    shipping_weight: Definition
    The shipping_weight attribute lets you include the weight to use when calculating shipping costs through your Merchant Center settings. For example, you would use shipping_weight when using carrier-calculated rates.

    How do I add the shipping_weight attribute to the feed? Does your plugin allow to add shipping_weight attribute to the feed for each item?
    Please advise.

    Hi,

    Yes you can add a shipping weight attribute to the feed by adding this field mapping: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4c5o6lt6539lvxk/Ship-Weight.png?dl=0
    make sure you also fill in the proper unit (kg, gram or whatever you are using in the suffix field)

    It does of course require you to have this weight filled in on your product edit pages.
