Google maps with directions form?

Is it at all possible to add a form to each instance of a google map that asks for the user’s address so they can receive directions to the venue? A client of ours is requesting this feature and at the moment I’m not very sure how to go about it. The site is using Events Organiser to keep track of their upcoming real estate courses, and will be updated regularly by the client after launch, so the solution needs to be automatic or easy to implement. I’m not sure such a thing even exists.
If it’s not possible to add a directions form to the maps, can the event venue hyperlinks that are generated by the template be changed to take the user to the google maps page?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. This is a project we’ve had for a long time, and it’s getting help up by a few things.
