Google Maps Radius Search with WordPress

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a bit of advice, direction on a current project I am having trouble with.

I have created a custom theme for a client, the company runs dining events around the UK. I setup a post type for the events, and everything works great.

One of the requirements from the client was to incorporate a Google Map search which listed all the events and put them on a Google Map. The user could then add there town or address etc into the search bar and it would display events near to there location.

For this functionality we are using “WP Google Map Pro plugin by Flippercode”. It seems like a great plugin, but there is an issue with the radius search, some locations entered don’t work with the radius filter. This is a problem for us.

I was wondering if anybody else has ever used any other plugin or knows of any plugin that would do the job to output a custom post types results with Google Maps and a Radius Search filter. The support by Flippercode is to put it blunt, sh$te!

Any advice, help, support, direction would be hugely appreciated.
