Google Maps location needs the venue name included

    I’ve set up venues for my events, but when checking the Google Map and link, the venue name is omitted from the address. The only way I can get the location to be fully accurate is by putting the venue name in the first line of the address. But, when displaying the venue name under the event details on the events page and the single events page, it shows twice. The only way I could get around this showing twice was by editing the replacement template under my theme files.

    Please can you help to rectify the issue with Google maps by telling me how I can get the venue title to be pulled into the address details.

    I was not able to replicate this issue that you are seeing unfortunately.

    As a first step, can you try a quick test and see if the functionality works as expected with a bare WordPress install? A bare install is basically a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty and no other plugins besides ours installed. You may want to consider trying this out on a staging site so that you don’t have to switch things around on your live site.

    I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to here. Are you seeing the venue name appear twice in our demo?

    Can you take a screenshot on your site of what you are seeing so that I can get a better sense of the issue here?
