    Hey there,

I’ve just updated Elementor to latest version (3.19.0, free version), and I see the following warning in Chrome DevTools’ Console:
“Google Maps JavaScript API has been loaded directly without loading=async. This can result in suboptimal performance. For best-practice loading patterns please see https://goo.gle/js-api-loading”

    Please take a look.

    Kind regards,
    thwp

    Hi, @thwp.

As the warning appeared after updating Elementor, it’s possible this is the result of a plugin or theme conflict. To rule out these possibilities, please try the following:

    • Ensure all of your plugins and your theme are up to date.
    • Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.
    • Switch your WordPress theme to a default WordPress theme temporarily, and see the warning disappears.

If the above does not help, check the following:

    • Clear your browser cache and check if the issue persists. Sometimes, cached scripts can cause conflicts. If the error is gone after clearing the cache, it was likely a caching issue.
    • If custom changes were made to your theme or custom code related to Google Maps was added, review those changes. Incorrectly implemented scripts in custom code can lead to loading issues.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

    Kind Regards,
