Google Maps JavaScript API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError

I’m getting the following error in console:

I noticed the Google Map wasn’t showing up on the event page and inspected it and saw the above error. I read that The Events Plugin comes with its own API Key installed; is this still the case, or do I need to add my own API Key?
