  • Google changed the api process – Events devs are aware and working on the update = until then there is no work around ??

    @beheard is correct.

    A new Dev version of the plugin contains a new option to add a Google Maps API key. You can upgrade to the Dev version of Events Manager under Events > Settings > General > Admin Tools.

    Hi

    I have now added a Google Maps API key and I am no longer getting the errors. Thank you for all the help. However, another error has arisen – location not found. Any ideas or should I start a new thread please?

    Thanks

    Hi All

    Just to fill you in. The issue is now completely resolved and the fix works on all levels. The locations I had previously added basically needed deleting and adding and the locations are then found on Google Maps. As I had only two locations this was easier than trying to sort out why they weren’t being located.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Hi there,
    So sorry but I still can not see where i add the newly obtained Google Maps API key?
    I have enabled the Dev version but still can not find a location to add this new key?. Sorry for this probably obvious question but please can you help!

    Many Thanks for your time in this matter

    Cathal

    I found it and all is working !
    Events > Settings > Formatting > Maps > Google Maps API Browser Key.

    Thanks guys wouldn’t have got there without your comments above

    I’m having this same error and I have followed all of the instructions for the API (https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/google-maps/api-key/) as well as Events > Settings > Formatting > Maps > Google Maps API Browser Key.

    Previous locations on the live view show the map but in the wp backend view, I get the grey box. Help!
