Google Maps disable but still shows on Event page saying maps cannot load

    Hi,

    This might be a very simple and silly question. I have disabled Google Maps from the Events Manager Settings. This has been great when it comes to adding a new event, however when I go to and event page I am still getting the Google Map being loaded on my event page.

    Can I remove this map from showing please?

    did you already removed placeholder #_LOCATIONMAP under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events > Single event page format ?

    I have since, removed the location map from Single Event Page Format, however the map is still showing.

    The template event-single.php, allows me to only remove the content rather than the map aswell.

    You should not have to edit php files to not display a map.

    Looking at your source code, it seems that you are using a short code (non-EM) to display a map.

    Is here any such entry in your Edit Event Page and/or Single Event Format?

    To disable the Google Maps integration, have you set Events > Settings > General > Google Maps and Location Services > “No” ?
