    Hello,

I use the Maps api, with normal Integration nothing is blocked.

Then I put the init Function in Integration – scripts : now its blocked, but in Developer Tools I can see, the Maps.api is loaded. After acceptance the map is shown.

When I also block the Maps.api url nothing is loaded, even after acceptance of the consent Tool.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @netzlounge,

Could you move the InitMap script to the page itself (outside of the script center), so that the Map starts working again?

That would allow us to take a look and provide the configuration you can use under Integrations > Script Center > Block a script, iframe or plugin to correctly block the Map and insert a placeholder.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @netzlounge,

You can try the Integration attached below, it will block the Maps API and your InitMap script; and the InitMap script is additionally set to “wait until” after the Maps API is fully unblocked. You can upload it as a .php file to the folder /wp-content/mu-plugins/ for it to take effect.

    widenmayer-custom-map.php

I did notice you still have the same InitMap script in the Script Center as well, in addition the manual implementation on the page itself, so you might want to remove that one.

Thank you for this script – I uploaded it but it has no effect. Furthermore I already tried this in first place with a similar script (working on another website).

Complianz -> Integrations: I deleted all related scripts, no services.
Page Contact: theres the initMap function and the link to the maps.api

I put the placeholder class “map” in the div that surrounds the function and the script url.

    Hi @netzlounge,

It seems that the Cookie Blocker isn’t activated on the page in question, so the content isn’t being blocked yet. This is indicated by the <body> element not containing the data-cmplz=”1″ parameter, which it would if the page was parsed by the Cookie Blocker.

Could you confirm that each step of the Complianz Wizard had been fully completed, and that the Cookie Blocker had also been enabled at the final step of the Wizard?

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi jarnovos,

Thank you for your “hanging in”: Cookie Blocker is activated.
I followed all the steps like I did on the other website where its working.
The only difference now as I can see is that there is no cookie scanned “Google Maps API” and therefore the service “Google Maps” is not syncronised cookiedatabase.org.

If you want to and are interested I can send you user login to WP.

    Kind regards

    Hi @netzlounge,

Please ensure not to mention or share any sort of access credentials on these forums, as this is prohibited per the WordPress Forum Guidelines.

Just as another check, is the Google Maps integration also enabled under Complianz > Integrations > Services?

If it is, but it still doesn’t work as expected; please send us a message via support(at)complianz.io and mention this thread, we can have a closer look at your configuration.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @netzlounge and community,

This behavior was corrected as soon the site switched back to a default WordPress theme, therefore I have marked this thread as resolved for now. If any further information or updates arise that are of interest to the community, we’ll share them in this thread.

    Kind regards, Jarno
