Google map thumbnail not showing

  • Hello,
    I am using the extended view plugin and when I open one of my events, the google map thumbnail shows very briefly, then dissapear. When I click on the grey picture of the thumbnail to enlarge the map, I can see the map properly full size on a different window.
    I have no footer.php file in my theme to add the code <?php wp_footer(); ?>.
    I only have a file called static-footer-text.php and another called wrapper-footer.php.
    Where can I include the piece of code to make the Google map showing?

    It is necessary to enter the Google Maps API Key, Dashboard > Events > Settings > Google Maps API Key, https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key#get-an-api-key

    Thank you. I forgot to mention in my earlier message that I did of course enter the Google maps API key. As explained the full Google map shows properly with the right location when I click on the little magnifier on the map thumbnail. Only the thumbnail map doesn’t show. I just see an error message (in French as I’m French speaker)saying that the map didn’t load.

    Hi Benjamin,
    Could you please have a look at my Google map problem, it begins to be urgent.
    I have searched my end and have read several times that the problem could come from the map which is called twice on the same page.
    I don’t know, but it may help you.

    Do you use another plugin that uses the Google API or maps? Please try to disable plugins one by one and check if the issue is still there.
