Google map problems

  • Hello,
    I have an API key and everything seems all right but when I write an address to my event and I publish it I have the following error (in french) :

    “Les détails pour votre évènement sont incorrects, et ne peuvent être publiées, veuillez corriger les erreurs suivantes : Merci de cocher la case d’acceptation pour que nous puissions collecter et stocker les données que vous nous fournissez.”

    If I translate it is : “The details for your event are incorrect, and can not be published, please correct the following errors: Please check the acceptance box so that we can collect and store the data we provide.”

    And I don’t see any acceptance to check…

    A solution ? Thank you ??

  • Having the same problem – event not saving the location?

    Having a similar problem, inputting an events address, but then on save/publish it is also selecting “This event does not have a physical location”, removing the previous address I had inputted, almost by default.

    If you’re using the latest version of EM. There is a known issue with a consent box when editing an Event. The quick fix is to Disable the consent box on Settings.

    Disable the consent forms on privacy settings in Events > Settings > Privacy > Consent, by setting all the forms to ‘Do Not Include’

    EM will be releasing a new upload in next few days that will fix this.

    Hello,
    Thank you for your answer.
    I did what you said and I have activated the last upload of EM but the problem remains… I don’t have google map.
    The plugin EM is in french, I did évènements -> Réglages -> Général -> Confidentialité and I set all the consents with “Ne pas inclure”.
    Any other solution ? Thank you !

    you can try the latest EM 5.9.4 instead.

    and still does not work ? can you try EM dev version 5.9.4.1 ? or try settings under Events > Settings > General > Privacy
