  • Oh shoot! I’m so sorry to hear the plugin started off on a rocky start and am bummed to see a one-star review come in because of it. Concerns like these help us improve the most so I definitely appreciate you sharing that with us here.

    Have you tried posting to our support forum? Issues with the Google Map are most often related to conflicts with the theme or another installed plugin. In those instances, the theme or other plugin is attempting to make an additional call to the Google Maps API than the one already included with The Events Calendar, which causes the Google Maps API to go a little haywire.

    For example, does the same issue happen when you switch to a default WordPress theme, like TwentyFifteen? That would tell us right away if there was a conflict with the theme.

    Perhaps the answer in this thread will help uncover where there might be conflict and how to resolve it from there.
