I’m having an issue with locally saved fonts. i followed the instructions here – https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/ and when i go to add the fonts to the site under the theme customizer, i can get the font to show up when typing, but it wont save so when i go to add another font and attached it to lets say H1 the new font will be used for the previous also, so overriding what i had put in before. Not sure what i’m doing wrong so any help would be great. thanks in advance.

    Hi Mike,

Not sure I understand the issue, any chance you can provide a screenshot of the issue? Thanks!

And what is the local font?

Below is a link to a screen recording to better explain what my issue is.

    Hi there,

What happens if you hit Publish before adding another font? Does the previously selected font still disappear?

    Let me try that.

If you’re using a child theme, try switching to the parent theme and retry adding the font.

If the issue still persists, try deactivating all plugins to check for any potential plugin conflicts.

Switched to the parent theme, that didn’t fix it.
deactivated all the plugins except generatepress, generateblocks, generateblockspro and GP Prem, and still the same issue. It seems to be only allowing me to have one local font at a time, its so strange.

Okay, that is odd indeed. What hosting service is your site on? Does your server have any kind of caching enabled?

I’m using a VM on AWS. actually i’ll check on that and see if it is. me needing to update GP prem shouldnt cause that issue should it?

So all caching was already turned off on my server.
But just to test it out i went into the code snippets i had for uploading the font files and disabled them and as of right now the font manager is workings like it is supposed to.

I’ll let you know tomorrow if the issue comes back but as of right now its working correctly
