I set up Google Merchant Center Next with Google Listings & Ads for my E-commerce store about 2 months ago. Worked perfectly out of the box. I had about 20K products under free listings. Last week suddenly the amount of products dropped to zero. I have changed nothing. GMC is not syncing with Woocommerce anymore. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting all accounts inside WordPress but it is still not working. Any help here?

    Hello @ntvmd,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing with Google Merchant Center not syncing with your WooCommerce store.

It seems like something unique to your site may have impacted the extension connection, as it doesn’t just disconnect on its own. Something else that could have caused this is revoking access from your Google account.

Could you please confirm to having followed this guide to disconnect your account?

Disconnecting and reconnecting the connection should help resolve this issue.

Let us know how it goes.

Yes I followed the guide, everything is connected and confirmed. I get to step 4 and there the plugin loads my 20K products however I don’t see a “save” or “activate” button to confirm once I get there. Is that normal?

Also… Do I need an “active” Google Ads account to get it working?

    Hello ntvmd,

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you please share a screenshot of the step 4 page?
I want to review the page and make sure everything is okay.

When you set up the GLA for the first time, did you set up a new Merchant Center account or linked an existing account to connect your store?

I look forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

I set up a new Google Merchant Center account when I set up GLA the first time.

    Hi @ntvmd

    Thanks for sharing further information.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue further by checking for any errors in your product feed tab? Also, could you kindly share a screenshot of your product feed tab? You can find this by navigating to Marketing > Google Listings and Ads > Product feed.

You can also check for Errors in Google Merchant Center. To do so, Log in to your Google Merchant Center account, navigate to products, and click on the Needs Attention or Diagnostics tabs.

Looking forward to resolving this issue for you.

I don’t have that tab (anymore). I can currently click on “start listing products” and then I get to the up to”step 4″ as shown in the screenshot in the answer above.

    Screenshot

In Google Merchant Center is nothing to see (anymore). It’s empty under all products tabs. It says “not synching with Woocommerce” or “Start adding products”.

I also checked my Woocommerce errror logs. I noticed that GLA is “trying” everyday to sync but it gives this error. Keep in mind it has worked perfectly for 2 months.

    Hi @ntvmd

This sounds like a permission issue. The error PERMISSION_DENIED and CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED suggest that your account may not be enabled or has been deactivated.

You can resolve the issue by completely disconnecting the current connection and setting it up afresh. Here’s how:

    • Go to this debug page: example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page (replace example.com with your domain)
    • Under Merchant Center, click MC Disconnect
    • Under Google Account, click Disconnect Google Account
    • Go to Marketing > Google Listing & Ads and initiate a fresh connection.

That should fix the connection and sync issue.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

I was stuck in step 4 again. This time I decided to click on create ads account and than I got 1 step further. I now have 40K products in my GLA product feed tab (status not synced). The problem might be fixed when the products get synced… I assume this will happen automatically?

    Hi @ntvmd

Yes, you’re correct. The syncing of your products should happen automatically. It might take some time depending on the number of products, in your case 40K.

If the products are not synced after a reasonable time, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Thanks!
