Google Kit :Error: Account token is missing

@zac1 we released a fix for this issue in the most recent version 1.11.0. Please update and if the issue persists, please open a new support topic and we’ll be happy to look into this further.

@aaibo if you could do the same that would be great.

I’m on Google Site Kit 1.11.1 and have the same issue.

@reneesoffice Thanks, the issue resolved itself after a couple of days. It might have been due to the fact that I change owner of the site.

HI, same error here after fresh sitekit install…logged off all gmail accounts / tried a few time…same error…

My problem is solved, I discovered the solution my self.
For missing link error message you need to create an account first for the email you are using. The error is not taking you to the site which you can create analytics account automatically. But you need to manually go to: https://analytics.google.com/ and do that. once you create it, the error will go

Hi I just got the same error everyone has been getting using WP and trying to install Analytics using Site Kit. Site Kit installs fine in WP but when I click to activate Analytics I get the error Token Missing. I reset Site Kit, then checked my sites Health, all “good” green button, then reset site kit again just in case then tried to install Analytics and same dang error, Missing Token. The way I’m using Word Press is through my GoDaddy portal, not sure if that helps. Thanks, [email protected]

@kamaldarwish Many thanks for sharing your experience and what worked in order for you to get setup successfully. It may require further investigation from our side as users shouldn’t have to manually create an Analytics account before Site Kit setup.
