Google Keeps Adding ‘- Foreign Affairs’ to my blog post titles in Google

There are lots more, but if you type in site:newpolitic.com on Google search you’ll be able to see that it keeps adding ‘- Foreign Affairs’ to a lot of my post titles, even when the article has nothing to do with ‘Foreign Affairs’.

We checked the provided links. We found that Google is showing a different SEO Title to the one you set in Yoast. Unfortunately, this is a common issue. Although Google typically uses the title and meta description from the metadata for indexing, this is not always the case. Google will sometimes modify the title or description of the URL as it sees fit. This is not due to the plugin not functioning as expected, but rather is due to Google modifying the title/description it indexes as its algorithm has concluded that there is a better version to index and we have additional information on this here: Google Shows The Wrong Meta Title For My Site
