Google integration: Error contacting provider

    When I configure Google+ as a provider to login, after configuring the google.com API Console, the G+ sign in button appears on the website. But this is the error message after approving the popup:

    Error contacting provider

    Tried this on 2 different websites, where the normal Google login with janrain worked!

    Strange…. and how to fix this?
