Hello. I have successfully created a form, created a Google Sheets Integration, and activated the integration. Everything checks out, and verifies as being connected.

The form will send data if I disconnect the Google Sheets integration, but if I activate the integration, I get the error message:
ERROR: Sorry, there was an error. Please be sure JavaScript and Cookies are enabled in your browser and try again.

I have checked settings, and have no blocking set for the browser.

    Please advise, thank you.

    Hello @linda_o

Are you getting the error while you enable the integration in form settings?

Or while submitting the form? Please advise!

Could you please export this form and share it with us here in your next reply? You can use a service like pastebin.

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

    Hi,
Thanks for taking a look at this! I love the plugin, the look, and the ease of creating a form. If I could just integrate, it would be perfect.

    1. If I just have the form on the page, no integrations, and hit SUBMIT, I get the success message and I can view the submission.

2.If I connect Google Sheets, the integration says “Your Google Sheets account is already authorized. Edit info below to re-authorize.” So it looks like we are connected. The data DOES show in my submissions, it is just not populating into Google Sheets. Is there something in setup on the Google side that I am missing? Do I need to have a spreadsheet with column headings before it can populate?

Is this what you need from pastebin? I’m sorry, I am not familiar with pastebin, and working from a designer-in-wordpress, not much coding background.

Thank you again for your time and patience.

I apologize, I see the link above does not work. How about a link to my page?

    Hello @linda_o ,

I have tested your form and it works fine with Google Spreadsheet integration.

Have you added Google integration to form? If you have added it can you check if file is created? If not can you take a screenshot of the popup that shows directory for the file?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello @linda_o

    I trust you’re doing well!

Would you please see if there is a conflict with another plugin? It is possible that some plugin may be interfering with the integration and causing this issue.

To run a test for a conflict, please deactivate all plugins and leave only the Forminator active. Submit a form and see if the same error will be shown again.

If all is well, please start activating one plugin at a time till the issue will be back. This way you will find which plugin is causing it.

Please have a site’s backup before running this test, so if something will go wrong, you can always restore your site.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hello Nastia,
I deactivated the other plugins, and its seems that there was a conflict! I can now submit the form and see the “success” message, and my submission shows up in the Forminator submissions.

I so much appreciate everyone’s help in guiding me through this process.

FYI – in case this can help anyone else:
After the success message problem was solved, the form was still not populating.
    1. I began fresh by deleting all forms out of Google Sheets, and all folders as well.
    2. I went back into Edit Form > Integrations. I set up the Google Sheet again, but this time left all of the fields blank. When prompted, I created the sheet name.
    3. I received an error message on the submission directing me to re-enable the Google API. I followed the link to re-enable on my Google Console.
    4. Finally, success, and the form populated.

    Thank you,
    Linda
