After reading up about googleon and googleoff tags, these will not work.

We did our research and we cannot think of another suitable solution to prevent parts of a page to be not indexed by Google. There are a number of solutions to prevent indexing of a page but hard to prevent parts of the page unless you implement some kind of paywall or require that user login to your site to view content.
