Hi, @tomiqa! The answer to your question will depend on how you have your site set up. Are you perhaps using an SEO plugin like Yoast?

Yoast seo only found 1 images per post.

I’m using another Image sitemap plugin which XML contains all the images.

I’m primarily interested in if its indexing it or not because of Jquery or Java script (I don’t even know the difference) solution which my theme Storefront utilizes?

So in other words, will the thumbnails be indexing, is Google “clicking” on the thumbnail to query all the images?

Simple Image XML Sitemap what I use

    Hi @tomiqa,

The images in the product gallery are available as regular links to the image files. While WooCommerce loads them via jQuery, which is a JavaScript library, the actual image links are present and work if JavaScript is disabled. You can test that out by temporarily disabling JavaScript in your browser and clicking on an image in the gallery. I don’t see any reason why Google wouldn’t follow those links.

    Hi @tomiqa,

Since we haven’t heard from you in a while, we’re hoping that means you were able to get this resolved. I’m going to close this thread out now.

If you’re still having trouble, please open up a new topic and we’ll be happy to help out.

    Cheers
