    Hello,

We have implemented the wpglobus plugin and bought the wpglobus plus. All is set properly with yoast but after a 10h google is indexing some of the pages with both language as title and excerpt.
For example it shows like “some title{:}{:fr}Un titre…”.

Can you give us a more info into this or this is a known bug or google process of indexing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello @deakzsolt,

No, it’s not a known bug. Take a look, for example at the HTML source of our website:

    EN
    view-source:https://wpglobus.com/what-is-wpglobus/

    RU
    view-source:https://wpglobus.com/ru/what-is-wpglobus/

You will see that title, description and all social meta tags do not have the {:} marks.

To find the source of your problem, you need to switch temporarily to a standard theme and deactivate all plugins except for WPGlobus, WPGlobus Plus, and Yoast and check the HTML source. If the problem persists, please open a support ticket via the WPGlobus “HelpDesk” link.

    Thank you!

    Hello Gregory,

    Thanks for the fast reply.

In the html all is good and we have noticed only on couple of pages, what might be that while we were doing a translation the module was not “enabled” but active. So google might pick up the half updated post.

Thanks any way we will monitor this and if there is any other concern will raise a support ticket.

Have a great rest of the day.
