Google indexing
-
Google indexes some posts as if it’s just scanning the home page and provides a link of
and other times it indexes what I would consider to be correct which is the actual post address of
https://www.mysite.com/2007/8/03/posttitle/
the latter indexing obviously gets the proper title tag of the post indexed, rather than title tag of the entire blog which occurs in the first. And obviously if it indexes with just the homepage URL, then that topic may no longer be at the homepage URL when someone finds the item in a search result.
It’s not duplicating, it just seems to choose one sometimes and the other the rest.
Appreciate the help.
