Google index of images
-
I have All in One SEO plugin set to redirect images to parent post.
I have attached all images to a page or post.
The permalink https://laserimagenc.com/our-team/kelly_clark_v2/ redirects to the parent post as expected.
This link allows for direct link to image in content.
https://laserimagenc.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Kelly_Clark_glass2.jpgYet, Google SERP has this listed: https://laserimagenc.com/kelly_clark_v2/
which leads to our site’s 404 page. I would really prefer to not have this in Google SERP results.I requested removal of the https://laserimagenc.com/kelly_clark_v2/ in Google index.
But, https://laserimagenc.com/kelly_clark_v2/ came back!
Any discussion on this is greatly appreciated. I am certain this have been discussed before I am missing something …
(This is only a single sample. This is happening to many (all) images.)
