• Hi, How can I prevent the amp pages from being indexed by google bot and other search engines? The ?amp pages are appearing in google search and when someone clicks on them then the simplistic ?amp pages are shown without any theme.

Isn’t google not supposed to index amp pages if the non-amp form is available?

Please elaborate properly what exactly your trying to accomplish so we can understand better and Help you ??

    two queries-
    1. I thought Google wasn’t supposed to show ?amp pages in search results. But, as I mentioned in my first post, the amp pages are in fact appearing in the search results.
    2. The fact that amp pages are appearing in search results may not have been such a problem if only the amp pages on my site showed either the desktop theme or the mobile theme. But, as I mentioned in my first post, the amp pages are very basic with just a tagline and an icon to ‘Navigate’.

Please let me know if the above is not clear – I’ll try to reword it again. Thanks.

Ok we have got your issue and with regards to the styling of AMP pages you can add your custom CSS here and the issue of how google indexes your AMP page , look here i found this link answering your questions in detail
