Google Group-like email system

Hello,

I have a website running WP and have about 100 members. I would like to set up some system that lets members email all other members.

I am familiar with the Google Groups model, which provides you with a single email address that members send emails to, and the email is then automatically forwarded to all members.

e.g.

1. Member sends email to [email protected]
2. The system detects that the email is coming from an email address associated with a registered user, and allows the email.
3. The email is automatically forwarded to all 100 members.

Is there any sort of plug-in that would let me set up this sort of thing within WordPress? I’d rather not have to go to the hassle of getting all those users to join a Google Group…

The general idea is this will allow members of my website to contact each other; I am hoping it will foster a sense of community (it will be used for an academic society).
