• I’ve used every single plugin that I can find for Google Friend Connect. I can NOT get it to work on my blog. I tried inserting the html code as well. Any ideas on how to fix this?!

  • I am in the same boat. Getting frustrated. Everyone makes it seem so easy but it just isnt working. I am new at this, though so it is probably something I did wrong. Pasted HTML code from google into sidebar.php under <div but I see the frame appear on the left behind my post instead of on the right in the sidebar along with all the ohter sidebar stuff I have put on there. Help???

i can’t get anything to show up I am really considering going back to blogger because of it, but don’t want to lose all of my fans. I don’t know what else to try as I have tried EVERYTHING someone HELP Please!

We have the same problem. Google Friend Connect appears and then disappears when we post an article or make some other small change. We’ve tried changing colors and moving it from sidebar to sidebar to test page. Our friends still show in Google, but we can’t get them to appear on our blog. Also, Connect is not sending out our blog posts to us as a member of Friend Connect. We wonder why no on is responding to this thread. Has anyone tried to get an answer from Google?

I just put up my first blog site and am having similar issues with Google Connect for both Fans and newsletters. Found that I had to click on Home to get these widgets to appear. Looks like no has a solutions and I’ll be on the hunt again for new fan and newsletter widgets.

    Hi all,

I’ve found that this website has html that works and have used it on several themes: https://www.spiceupyourblog.com/2011/06/follow-button-google-friend-connect.html

    Good luck!
