This means the WordPress HTTP API is timing out talking to Google’s server(s). You can try increasing the length of the HTTP API timeout, it is a setting on the Options page to see if it helps.

I’m pretty new to wordpress, can you tell me where the option page is?

From the WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Google Forms

The Settings page has a number of tabs on it. You’ll want either the “Options” tab or the “Advanced Options” tab, I can’t recall which. I am pretty sure the HTTP API Timeout setting is on the “Options” tab.
