• Hi –
I’m not sure if anyone can help me, but I am having trouble using a WebFont on my website.

I purchased this theme and have made many changes in the CSS. I’m not a great coder, but I know enough to make myself dangerous.

I have tried coding the Google webfont into the CSS and installing a few plug-ins – nothing is working! I can’t seem to find what in the CSS or some other piece of code that is blocking this font style from displaying.

  • Can you explain to us what it is supposed to look like so we know if there is a problem or not? Also include what browser your using.

    Have you cleared your cache?

@lizrose925: I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

Yes, I cleared the cache….I’m checking it in Safari, Firefox and Chrome on a Mac computer.

Here is a link to the Google Web Font that the h1 tags are supposed to look like:

I had contacted the vendor, but hadn’t got a response yet, so I figured I’d see if anyone here could help me and just look at the code real quick to see what I’m missing. I use Firefox’s inspector tools and it seems that it should work!

CSS achieves this mainly through either Cufon or `@font-face’.
    Have you tried these methods?

Can you explain to me what the Cufon is or direct me to more info? I have seen that pop up in the Firefox inspector tools, but I couldn’t find a “cufon” css file.

But be careful. Some people have experienced serious problems with text “disappearing” in IE9 when using Cufon.
