Google Fonts interfering with FontAwesome icons

  • My social media icons in the menu were not showing up, so I changed my theme, expecting that to fix the problem, but I still get weird icons and blank squares.
    I tried deactivating the Google Fonts plugin and realized that was the problem. It was interfering with the FontAwesome social icons on the top right of my website.
    Is there a way I can fix it, to stop the interference because I want to keep the Google Fonts plugin while having my social media icons placed there.
