• Hi there, I am trying to reduce the amount of requests my website is making and speed it up. One thing I’ve noticed is that it is requesting for google fonts when I have no need for google fonts as my theme has its own fonts. I would like to either get rid of them or add the fonts locally, any suggestions? Yes I realize it’s a 3rd party that I have no control of about whether they have far future expiration dates but I think there must be a solution to this. Here is the GTMetrix result showing the problem:

There are 4 static components without a far-future expiration date.

    https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto%20Slab%3A300%2C400%7CRaleway%3A400%2C500%2C700&subset=latin-ext
    https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400&subset=latin
    https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,600&subset=latin
    https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:400,700&subset=latin

I would love if someone knew how to get rid of these requests all together since they are not needed as far as I can tell.
