The help video shows old api console and cannot get the plugin to work using server or browser keys…

In the world of computers and internet functionality, where things really are not intuitive on a human level no matter how often the word ‘intuitive’ is used, getting an API for Google Fonts holds a special place in the realm of unnecessarily confusing wild goose chases. It would be easier to invent a new type of mathematics which explains the singularity of black holes. Must I really learn an entirely new discipline to get a code which no one cares about so a typeface can look appropriate on a website?

Google and “intuitive” are a contradiction in terms.
