Google Font Selected Not Showing Until Refreshing Page

Here’s the issue I’ve noticed for a while: when I first visit the page, it shows some sort of condensed font for
<h*>text and buttons. However, when I refresh the site, it shows the Google Font I tell it to use (Open Sans). I previously used Google Font “Sintony” and this same problem occurred then, too.Above are links to my site, child theme custom files, etc. Below are screen shots showing what I’m seeing.
