Google font & Preconnect 3rd party setting

    1. What is the optimal Google Font setting that will make the site fast without breaking or affecting the google fonts used in the site?

    2. I have searched for hours looking for ways to set up Pre connect to the 3rd party setting.

    Are there any example that we can use?

    1. I think “aggregate & preload” in 2.4 is best (no, I always click “remove google fonts”, but that’s not what you’re asking for ?? ), but experiment with the settings and see what works best for you?

    2. the first question is; do you *need* to preconnect? preconnect is only useful if, when investigating your site’s loading time on e.g. https://webpagetest.org you see long(er) connection times (connection time = dns request + tcp/ip connection + https handshake) to 3rd party sites. assuming you see half a second connection time to https://slowasasnail.com and you see in the waterfall chart that this is slowing the entire site down, you can add https://slowasasnail.com to the comma-separated preconnect field.
