    Hello!

First I want to say thank you for this great plugin, it makes life much easier.

Now, my problem is I’m using a font on my authors page called “Rubik”. It gets blocked by the plugin but it won’t detect it and store it locally. All other fonts I have (Open Sans and Roboto) are detected right.

If I deactivate the plugin, the font loads normally from Google.

I’m using the Newspaper theme by tagdiv. I activated the testing mode.

I hope you can help me!

    Thank you very much, Laura

    Hi Laura,

I don’t think you have OMGF activated at the moment, do you?

Could you activate OMGF and activate its Test Mode (located at the bottom of the Local Fonts tab)? That’ll allow me to run some tests without interfering with your visitors.

Let me know when it’s done!

    Thanks,

    Daan

I’m pretty sure you have Don’t Load checked for all the fonts. Could you check? Because if so, it makes sense that the fonts don’t load. ??

Whoops, my bad. I should not do it when I’m half asleep. I’m very sorry about that.

But in the list are still only Open Sans and Roboto. The Rubik one is still not there and is also not loading via google fonts in my backend ??

Right, that’s because you’re homepage doesn’t use Rubik and OMGF only scans the homepage when clicking Save & Optimize. Triggering an optimization on the deeper (author) page when not in Test Mode (you can force this by appending ?omgf_optimize=1 to the URL) forced OMGF to look again, and now it’s running properly.

    Enjoy!
