    Hi again, Louise.

Could you please provide a link to the event this isn’t working for?

Is this happening on all devices or just specific ones (like Android, for which there’s a known bug with Android OS)?

Is this happening logged in to other Google Calendar accounts or just one specific one?

    Hi Clifford

We are using apple mac’s (not just my computer). I am using 10.12.1.
It is happening on 2 websites.

Link example from one of our websites https://www.innerworkpath.com/events/
    Using WordPress 4.6.1
    Wordpress Template Photo version 1
With basic plugins such as contact form 7, but let me know if you need a list

Link example from our other websites
    Using WordPress 4.6.1
    Template – Tesseract
    Plugin – Beaver builder lite
only other plugins are limit login attempts and events calendar

What happens is that it opens the google calendar page (and closes the website page) but does not add it to the calendar.

    thank you
    I hope you can help

    Hey Louise,

    I see what you mean.

On the https://developingtheself.org/ website, I am also seeing a Google maps API error.
You might want to look into it. It might not be related, but it certainly cannot hurt.

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.?This is usually because of:
    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your?WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for?the Events Calendar that requires updating?

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default?WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to?go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare?WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating?a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let us know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
