    Hi,

    If you install the free plugin WP Crontrol, and go to the list of scheduled tasks in the ‘Tools’ sub-menu, what do you see? Your description and the log file suggests that scheduled tasks aren’t being invoked in a timely manner. Are you using some custom mechanism for WP Cron? If so, you’re not invoking it often enough relative to the number of tasks on the site.
