Google drive image link for product images

  • I have csv sheet including product images but images are in google drive links/dropbox image link format which is not importing. How do i import the google dive image links as product image ? or is there any other solution ?

    Hi @ekaljain,

    I’m afraid you’re not going to have much success trying to import images from Google Drive links.

    The CSV product importer expects image links to be direct links that end in a recognised image extension e.g. .jpg, .png, .gif, etc. Google Drive does not provide links in this manner so this will not work.

    Dropbox is pretty much the same story.

    You’re going to want to either:

    • download those images locally and then upload them to your site. You can then provide just the filenames in the image column of your CSV document
    • or put the images somewhere where you can get direct links to them in the manner required

    understood, but going with either of the way is gonna take very long time as i have more than approx 500 products. Is there any way/solution i can apply in bulk to the images ?
