“Google Drive Gallery” button doesnt work

Hi,

what version of WordPress are you using? Ideally, you should be on the latest (5.2.4 at the moment) and using Gutenberg, the block editor.

Hi there, thanks for answer.

I managed to make it, the problem was the Gutenberg editor. I’m using the Bakery Page Builder to compose my pages and, apparently, your solution doesn’t work on Page Builder. I can do this using this line of code on block of text on page builder:

<p><!– wp:skaut-google-drive-gallery/gallery {“path”:[]} /–></p>

Did work, for now.

Hello, another issue:

“The maximum number of requests has been exceeded. Please try again in a minute.”

I’ve upload four folders with some pics. This message is coming up after navigating on GDrive folders. What that supposed to mean?

Hi,

If your page builder doesn’t support Gutenberg blocks, I’m afraid I can’t do much better – you should ask the page builder authors not to break core WordPress functionality.

The issue with the number of requests is unfortunately a limitation on Google’s side. We are working on making it better, but for now you have several options:

– Don’t display folder image counts
– Don’t display many folders at once – they eat the limit the most
– Ask Google for a higher quota – they *should* do it for free, but you need to ask – see https://github.com/skaut/skaut-google-drive-gallery/issues/231
