Hello. We have a problem with the Google Tag Manager for WordPress plugin.

In Woocommerce we have activated the following settings:

Unfortunately we have to keep this selection for technical reasons. It should not be changed.

The price in the Google Data Layer is displayed without tax although the option “Show prices in the shop: incl. VAT” is activated.

    Bug?

    Thank you for you’re help

    Hi,

GTM4WP simply queries the price of the product using WooCommerce’s own functions. So let’s say on a product detail page when we need to query the price, we simply ask WooCommerce to return this value without looking directly into the database.

If for some reason WooCommerce returns the price without VAT, this will be added into the data layer.

I’ve added a ticket about this into the GitHub repo of this plugin since as far as I can see this behavior could be changed easily:

Just a quick follow-up: this has been added into the core and will be included in the next release of the plugin
