Hi a google crawler IP is being labeled as an other and showing up as Other logged out. Is there a reason for this?

Not sure about this. How and when is this happening? Do you perhaps have any other plugins installed on your site that modifies the login behavior in any way?

This is happening sporadically. I spoke to our security team and they said it was a google crawler. The only other plugin we have is theme my login

Thanks for the info. I’ve never seen this myself so my best guess is that it is because of the “Theme My Login” plugin. I will install that plugin and see if I can reproduce the behaviour.

Ok, I tried the “Theme My Login” plugin and I can recreate this behaviour.

It happens if I – as a logged out user, for example a Google Bot – visit the page
    https://domain.com/logout/

Where I get a text that says something like this:
“Do you really want to _log out_?”
Even if I’m not logged in I will get the link “log out”.

When I click the “Log out” link I get to the login page with the message
    “You are now logged out.”

So I guess Google visits the logout link and follows the logout link and then the logout flow is trigged for a non logged in user in WP. My guess is that the Theme My Login plugin author should take a look at it.
