Google Crawl Soft 404

    We’re getting “Soft 404” errors according to Google for all pages associated with The Events Calendar.

    Is this a known issue?

    Is there a fix?

    Here are all the pages Google has flagged with this error and is not crawling.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    In your report I see that these were flagged more than a month in the past. What happens if you ask Google to re-crawl them? Are you still getting these errors back?

    Thanks for the reply! Has something changed with the plugin which would have fixed these issues?

    I have submitted new xml sitemaps so I think that will trigger a crawl.

    Thanks for your help. It seems that if any of the event fields are empty then Google won’t crawl them.
