Google Consent Mode V2 only with paid Upgrade

If you need Consent Mode V2 and want to use the free version – it does not work. Needing a paid upgrade to use the Google Consent Mode V2 (which is Standard now) gives me a bad impression. I will have to delete the Plugin now and setup a new one as Google Analytics is going V2 now as the Standard.
