Google Chrome: large pic navigation not visible

Everything works fine in Chrome except when you click on a thumbnail and view the large image, you can only just see the very top of the navigation bar at the foot of the browser window so the only way to get back to the site is to press escape.
Interface is completely different in Explorer so works fine.
