    A website performance test via webpagetest.org reveals that GTranslate – apparently – is not allowing Google’s CDN for “translate.googleapis.com” to load on our website. Click here for details.

    The end result is that browser caching of all translated assets for our website and/or download speed of translations is not where it should be.

    Kindly explain why we’re not seeing the “Google” CDN listed next to “translate.googleapis.com” and – if possible – kindly provide a JS Code that we can add to the header of our website to fix the above concerns.

    If you don’t mind, please don’t mark this topic as “Resolved” until I have a chance to review your reply.

    Thank you. Stay safe!

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    I think that you will need to contact the tool support you are using for explanation.

    I believe that they are checking the response Server header to possibly detect any known CDN-s. They simply have no information about the server used by translate.googleapis.com which is set like this:

    server: sffe

    If you think my answer does not solve the issue, please feel free to reopen it.

    Thanks! ??

    @edo888,

    Good news. Received a reply from webpagetest.org. See below for their reply.

    Thanks. It caught a few of the translate requests but looks like Google added a different server header for some others. Detection has been updated and will roll out over the next hour.

    Based on the above reply, their fix will roll out today, April 20, 2020, at 12:30 PM (CT).

    Again, thank you.
