Hi, my site was recently hacked, and after cleaning everything up and activating the firewall setting in wordfence (free), google can’t fetch or crawl my site. There are no restrictions on my robots.txt that would cause this, and i’m using the free version of wordfence, so it can’t be the country restriction. I have the “immediately block fake google crawlers” unchecked, and all rate limits set to 60/min.
Any suggestions or thoughts on what is causing this?

Oh and the Google’s Crawlers are being treated as “Verified google crawlers have unlimited access”

    Hi,
Please let me know the result of “Fetch as Google test“, and “robots.txt Tester“.

When you perform both tests, go to (Wordfence > Live Traffic) and watch for “googlebot” in the log.

P.S. make sure there is no other plugin blocking Google’s crawlers (disable all of them -temporarily- and re-check), and there is no custom code added in .htaccess file doing the same thing.

Let me know how it goes,
    Thanks.

I figured it out – it was in the httaccess file.
All is working well again ??
