I’m using Google Calendar Events on a site. The calendar itself appears to have the proper settings, so if I go to the calendar page on the site it does display a google calendar. However, the plugin settings in my admin dashboard do not look anything like any of the video tutorials for the plugin that I have viewed. Specifically, the tutorials show the plugin to have a menu to add events, while my install allows setting up new feeds but I don’t see how to actually add events.

    Hello,

may I have a link to the video tutorial you have seen?

You need to add events to your Google Calendar first and then they will imported in your site with this plugin – you only need to tell which calendar to import (by specifying a calendar ID). You can’t add new events or edit events directly from the WordPress dashboard with this plugin.

There were other videos as well. They all show adding events from WP, unless they are talking about a different plugin.

These videos are related to another plugin.

Do you know which plugin? The name appears to be the same, but this one may be easier to use as it appears to operate within the WP environment. When I click the links from what I have installed it takes me to the only Google Calendar Event plug in I can find.
