Google Calendar embedding broken
-
I have embedded a Google calendar using the iframe code obtained from Google. This has worked fine from the creation of the site in 2012 until about the end of October 2015 when suddenly an error message appears saying the calendar can’t be displayed – but only if I am logged in to my Google account. If I log out of the Google account, the calendar is displayed; if I return to my Google account and login (e.g. for webmail or to edit my calendar) then return to my website the calendar disappears.
I am sure this is related to WordPress installations as others have complained about this as well. I also note that the problem appears in the wordpress.com help page – see
https://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/
where I see holidays in United States if not logged in to Google but the error message when I am.
You can check out my site at
https://leightonbaptists.org.uk/
where the calendar should display in the main text area in the right-hand column of the home page.
I am running Worpress 4.3.1 with Weaver-II theme.
