    When I book a whole day event in Google calendar, the day shows up blocked out in Appointments plugin nicely. When I change the services pulldown, the same day that was blocked out shows up wide open. I have one service provider setup and set the worker to that ID in the shortcode. I have 2 items setup, Item #1 is for 1 hour and item #2 is for 30 minutes. Item #1 is displaying perfectly but when I use the pulldown to switch to item #2 the day is no longer blocked out. I have autorefresh set to 1. I removed autorefresh and the problem still occurs as soon as I hit the show times button for Item #2.

    Hello ntaxes,

    In Appointments you can have separate calendar for each service provider – instead of using one global calendar that will have appointments not assigned to any specific provider, but to service try to setup calendar for only Service provider – so appointments there will be only for them.
    In Google Canlendar Settings there is “Allow Service Providers for Google Calendar API Integration” – set that to yes and configure calendar on service provider profile page.

    Let me know if this will solve that problem.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi Kasia,

    Thank you for your response.

    I set the “Google Calendar API Integration” to “yes” but when I go into the user profile for the service provider the fields are greyed out and it won’t let me enter anything.

    Hi Kasia, I don’t know if the two are related but I also just discovered that my General Settings page has no “Save” button and the last setting visible is the “Payment Required” setting. We are supposed to go live this week and this plugin is a major part of the site so I really hope you can help me work these issues out or we have to find another option ASAP. Thank you

    Hello @ntaxes, I hope you are doing well today!

    I don’t know if the two are related but I also just discovered that my General Settings page has no “Save” button and the last setting visible is the “Payment Required” setting.

    This looks like a conflict with another plugin. Would you please run a quick check for a conflict with another plugin or theme?

    Deactivate all other plugins and test if the “Save” button is visible. If everything is well, activate one plugin at a time to find the one that causes this.

    Follow the steps from the flowchart:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/using-wpmu-dev/getting-support/

    I set the “Google Calendar API Integration” to “yes” but when I go into the user profile for the service provider the fields are greyed out and it won’t let me enter anything.

    Please note, that you need to log in with the service Provider’s account. You can not edit fields for your service provider with the Appointments Lite version.

    I would also like to inform you that Google recently changed it’s policy how they handle the API calls and the Appointments Lite plugin is not integrated with these changes.

    The good news the Appointments+ is integrated with this new GCal policy and you can edit the appointments fields for the service providers. You can update to the Appointments+ for free, once you subscribe for 14 days trial here.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Hi Nastia,

    Thank you for responding. Honestly, I am extremely disappointed to hear the lite version can’t do what your company claims it can do. We wasted a tremendous amount of time and effort on this. I have deleted the second service item so the program will work in the meantime while we fix the save issue.

    I deactivated all my plugins as you suggested and the “save” button is still missing from the general settings tab. I don’t know if it has anything to do with this bug but I noticed the save button missing after I had turned on the setting for your program to manage cache. That setting is also missing from the screen so I have no way to clear the cache or change it back. Hope this helps

    Thank you for using Appointments. I am going to mark this topic resolved because we have moved it to email. If this issue was not resolved we can reopen it. Thanks again!

    The issue is not resolved. I emailed your company like requested and a few weeks later I was asked to send you admin login credentials to my website. I spoke to the owners and we all agree that we are not comfortable emailing and giving out our admin login. I am disappointed that this is the only possible way to diagnose why a SAVE button disappears from the settings screen. I hope your company can come up with another idea or we will have to transition to another program that is more stable. Thank you

    Hello @ntaxes

    I hope you are doing well!

    My apologies for the frustration this issue has caused. Unfortunately, we haven’t received a reply to our last email.

    I and my colleague Kasia have retested this issue and I am afraid we can’t replicate it.

    Please, add the following to the wp-config.php file:

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );

    Make sure that you insert this line BEFORE /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ in the wp-config.php file.

    Go to Appointments > Settings > General. If there are any errors, these will be added inside the debug.log file that is located in /wp-content/ folder.

    Let me know if you see any errors there.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
