The google cache is picking up the amp version of my pages but viewing it as the canonical url?

This is confusing when making additions

    Any fix for this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @my247restore,

Yes I have checked your issue and your issue is valid, Google is showing cache pages of AMP with the source code of non-amp version.

Have you enabled the convert to wp option before in our AMP panel? Will, you please clear all your Comet Cache and check again.

Hi there, thanks for your response.

I’m not quite clear on what the convert to wp option is, or where it’s located.

I’m assuming it should be on the plugin dashboard options section?

    Hi @my247restore,

Yes, the convert to wp option is there in our AMP panel settings but if you don’t know about it then you no need to worry about it.

But the good thing is your page is valid in the normal or current AMP version and you are having errors in only the cache pages. Please wait for some days and I am sure it will be removed from the old cache.

    Hi there,

Still not removed from the google cache. The only way it separates is if I do a manual desktop crawl. But as soon as it crawls naturally it goes back to amp as the canonical url.

And I have also noticed that google is not reading my schema markups now that it is considering the amp version as the canonical url.

I have tried to do the free structured markup option in the settings to see if I could implement my markup there but it just keeps loading and never updates.

I’m leaning toward just disabling AMP for WP plugin for the time being unless you have a better resolve.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi @my247restore,

It seems you have deactivated our AMP plugin and now your non-amp page is being cached by Google and will you please contact us on [email protected] and we will properly setup your amphtml and canonical URLs and we will make sure all your issues will be fixed and everything will work perfectly.

im not sure why this is marked as fixed or resolved, it’s still an issue within your plugin
